Five LVMH beauty brands. 120 countries. One playbook.

Kendo’s portfolio, Fenty Beauty and Marc Jacobs Beauty among them, needed to expand globally at pace. A platform migration had knocked out critical SEO traffic, and paid search was running at a loss.

The starting context

The LVMH-owned Kendo group runs several of beauty’s most recognisable names, including Fenty Beauty, Marc Jacobs Beauty, Ole Henriksen, Lip Lab and Kat Von D Beauty. The brief was a playbook for rapid global expansion across 120 countries.

Where they were stuck

  • A new brand launch to stand up from scratch
  • An eCommerce platform migration that had disrupted critical SEO traffic
  • High brand cost-per-click
  • A paid search and shopping programme running unprofitably

What the network did

We built a global SEO framework for Fenty Beauty and rebuilt the paid search programme for Marc Jacobs Beauty. Underneath both, we stood up a single analytics engine across five brands and 120 countries, linking digital performance to in-store, and giving the board one view to test, learn and grow from.
